Before writing this article I
made a point of conducting a little survey within my circle of friends who are
working on different profiles and on different levels. It was done with the
purpose of getting an in-depth detail of organizational behavior and what leads
to lack of job satisfaction and what roles does bosses pays in formation of perception
about the organization. When asked about the bosses, the maximum responses were
“the boss himself doesn’t know what he wants” or “we give 4-5 samples just to
makes sure he ends up liking something” this does nothing but increases the
unnecessary amount of long working hours workload. This does not imply that the
professionals working on the executive level has no idea of what they want.
They very well know what they want and how the work should be executed.
Then what creates chaos in the
team? And what brings this level of frustration amongst employees? The answer is
simple there is a significant communication gap; the manager is not able to
communicate properly and that leads to the formation of above given responses. This,
at times can be very frustrating for both the manager and the subordinate. This
is due to the lack of strong management which ultimately leads to the high rate
of retraction. Such organizations does not exhibit happy healthy working
environment.
Being an employee to such an
organization can lead in declination of your work efficiency and self esteem.
The professionals working on the managerial level should always be crisp and
precise while communicating and making their point very clear. If you are
employed in such dreadful organization you should consider in moving ahead, as
it is said that,
“If
you don’t like where you are, change it, you’re not a tree”
